One Of Us Is Lying - Karen M. McManus - English Review
What happens when five strangers enter a classroom and only four come out alive again?
Seventeen-year-old Simon Kelleher has developed Bayview Highs notorious gossip app. He announces that he is going to reveal juicy new stories about four popular fellow students. But then he dies unexpectedly in front of them. Bronwyn, Cooper, Addy and Nate - the brain, the athlete, the princess and the criminal of the school - are the subject of Simon's gossip and turn into suspects as soon as it becomes known that his death was not an accident. Who can be trusted? Which of them is guilty? Each of them has something to hide. Each of them could have done it to prevent the gossip being revealed on the app. And one of them is lying.
This beautiful, exciting and compelling book. You read it from the perspective of the four main characters Bronwyn, Addy, Cooper and Nate. Every chapter ends super exciting so you always want to continue reading and just can't put the book away. This book is so good I definitely recommend it. This book gets 4.5 out of 5.
